Rebecca is a seasoned corporate finance and valuation professional with extensive experience advising middle-market companies, private equity sponsors, and family-owned businesses across Texas. Her background spans M&A advisory, capital markets, and strategic financial planning, with a focus on delivering credible, decision-ready analysis to owners, boards, and investors.
Rebecca holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and brings a disciplined, institutional-grade approach to every engagement at DFW Valuations.
As a Chartered Business Valuator, Mr. Mathews has valued business interests, royalty interests, including overriding royalty interests, and partnership interests. He sat as a board member for a public serial acquirer in the sports management / crypto industry. Mr. Mathews sits on a few FINRA broker dealers/RIAs, assisting to raise capital for private entities and to co-manage discretionary portfolios. He has also assisted in raising while valuing convertible debt, venture debt/mezzanine financing, preferred shares, senior debt instruments, stock options, warrants and restricted share units. He has produced fairness opinions, which have been used for public companies trading on the NYSE, TSX, and TSX-V.
He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor's in Accounting & Financial Management (BAFM), with a minor in Economics, and attended the University of Connecticut for the Master of Science in Accounting program. He currently sits as a member of the educational working body of the CFA Institute, member of the AICPA, member of the Estate Planning Council of Canada, member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, member of the CFA Society Dallas/Fort Worth, member of the CFA Society Miami, member of the San Antonio Chapter ASA, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Business Valuators. Abhi is a Chartered Business Valuator (2013) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (2014). He has completed the Series 7, 63, 79, and SIE with FINRA.
Mr. Mathews occasionally participates on the advisory board of private entities spanning industries from financial technology to legal services to asset management. He has been published in The Lawyers Daily, CAIA, Benzinga, Crunchbase, TalkMarkets, New Jersey News Journal, and other publications.
Rudy brings deep expertise in litigation support, forensic accounting, and transaction advisory across Texas and the broader Southwest. He has significant experience in matters involving shareholder disputes, business divorces, economic damages, fraud investigations, and contested commercial negotiations, and has served as an expert witness in Texas courts and arbitration proceedings.
From a transaction perspective, Rudy has supported buy-side and sell-side deals through financial due diligence, quality of earnings analysis, working capital assessments, and valuation support for closely held and multi-entity businesses. He is a Texas-licensed Certified Public Accountant with a track record of delivering clear, defensible financial analysis for legal counsel, investors, and business owners alike.
